It is Indeed a Wonderful Christmas Present

Dear believers in Christ,

My brother Jemmy being saved is truly a wonderful Christmas present this year (some believers have said the same thing). A request was in fact made to Him for this specific present so long as it is in His perfect timing. The Lord is very gracious in answering the request. Jemmy now belongs to Him; he is now a member of God's family. What a joy! Praise Him!



Just a quick note about him. During the breaking of bread this morning, he listened intently. I noticed he nodded his head several times when he heard the Gospel was expounded. He also sang along even though he might not have heard the hymn before. He followed the Bible verses that were being read by the brothers. One time he was lost (i.e. he could not catch up with the speaker), but he then asked for help in finding out that particular passage that was being read. His willingness to pay attention shows that the Holy Spirit is working in him.

Please continue praying for him as he was suggested to start reading the Bible everyday. He has an Indonesian-English Bible which will be very helpful for him (since many biblical terms are very new to him). Please pray he will not be discouraged when he finds some verses he does not understand; please pray he will jot them down and ask questions about them. Again, thank you for all your prayers and labors in ministering to Jemmy.
